Gather details before enquiring
- full name, including former spellings,
- dates of birth and death where known,
- possible year of burial,
- any field, row or grave number,
- relatives who may share the grave,
- a photograph or transcription of an older location reference.
Send these details to the cemetery administration. A conclusive answer can depend on the information that may be disclosed and the quality of the starting details.
Using the plan on site
The PDF cemetery plan divides the grounds into fields 001 to 015. Once the administration provides a location, record the full reference and use major paths, the chapel and entrances as additional landmarks. The honorary-grave circles on the official plan indicate approximate positions only.
