The visitor address is Hüttenweg 47, 14195 Berlin. The cemetery lies between Hüttenweg, Am Waldfriedhof and Am Hegewinkel on the south-eastern edge of the Grunewald.
Entrances
The official plan highlights the Hüttenweg entrance by the office and car park as well as the southern entrance on Am Hegewinkel. A further gate without an access restriction is mapped on the eastern side near the service yard. Gates tagged access=no and private gates are deliberately not presented as visitor entrances.
Bus, car and bicycle
The Waldfriedhof Dahlem bus stop is immediately east of the cemetery. Check the route, departure time and short-notice disruption with the transport operator before travelling. The public car park on Hüttenweg is mapped as free, wheelchair accessible and with an estimated capacity of 22 vehicles; local signs always take precedence.
Eight uncovered bicycle stands are mapped by the Hüttenweg entrance. Leave bicycles there: several internal paths are mapped with a bicycle restriction.
Planning a low-barrier visit
The car park, toilet and information map are close together. Steps and level changes are mapped inside the grounds, however, and no reliable step-free route across the whole cemetery is documented. Discuss specific access needs with the cemetery administration before visiting.
